Nick has made significant progress lately, both in terms of the internal components of the pedal and the external features we chose. Here’s a sneak peek at the exterior, highlighting the footswitch and knobs we’re using. Nick hand-turned these knobs out of brass, and I’m personally in love with how they turned out. The black portion of the pedal is just a placeholder for a label that will match the color of the pedal. We're working on some exciting things with the label, which I'll share more about once we make further progress with the printer. The design is complete, and we’re both incredibly excited to share it with you soon.
Regarding the "guts" of the pedal, we’ve finalized the PCB design. I'm not sure if I’ve mentioned this before, but we draw out the PCBs in-house and go through the versioning process the "old-fashioned" way. This particular board took a very long time to perfect. I’m thrilled to have it completed and very close to production.
In terms of production, we are making all of these pedals in-house. So, when you buy a pedal from us, you’re getting one that Nick and I have built and tested with our own hands. This is important to me because too often, brands in this industry outsource all the builds and might even use someone else’s design selected from a catalog. We hope this resonates with you and that you see the value this adds to our pedals. I’ll be updating at least once a week on everything or discussing topics that I find interesting here. Please take the time to check out all of our socials and follow us. Also, please check out our Discord. It’s still very new, but I hope it becomes a community for all musicians to come together and create with each other. Have a great week!
