Loraine
Justin Young + Eric Anderson

Loraine is an instrumental post-rock band, based out of Atlanta, which began in 2012 with the simple intention of writing music that makes you feel something. Each song is a stream of emotion, locked in time. With a huge emphasis on keeping things concise, something atypical for the genre, each part is impermanent and transitory. They'll never let a part linger for too long, they'll never let you get bored of a section, and they'll never let something feel like it should go somewhere, but doesn’t.
After a hiatus from 2017 until 2022, they’re back with some new members and will finally be pressing their full length album, “Exist” very soon. New music is also being written with the new members, so the plan is to follow up the full length with fresh new music for the foreseeable future.
Justin Young and Eric Anderson are both founding members, and have very different approaches to both their parts and their guitar tone. Justin uses the single channel, clean amp pedal platform approach, so his pedalboard is massive and looks like something out of a sci-fi movie. Eric on the other hand uses mostly the 2 channels of his amp for the majority of his tonal options, with a minimal pedalboard setup. The Bomber Overdrive however, has become a staple on both of their boards, as a kind of in-between middle drive channel.
